I mean, beyond it being pandering nonsense, does it even make sense within the context of the world? I’ve never played a Dragon Age game, but something tells me that a medieval sword and sorcery setting wouldn’t have developed social attitudes that we have in the modern world. the prior games when it came to lgbt stuff were reasonable. it was accepted however for the elite there was an expectation that you'd have political marriage with members of the opposite sex/have kids if necessary to continue the family line
