Kotor 2's ending was shit. Also I got genuinely annoyed when I realized on my playthrough (first time playing was recently) that the protag's 'unique trait' is the same as the protag of South Park: The Stick of Truth. Obviously kotor 2 released before but I didn't get around to it till now so that took a fair bit of intrigue out of it for me when I realized Obsidian double dipped. Still KOTOR 2 at its worst is still better as far as perceived choice goes than the best RPGs release in the last fucking decade.
The final planet + Star Forge of KOTOR 1 > KOTOR 2 > KOTOR 1 > The final planet of KOTOR 2

No in the Stick of Truth the protag's ability is making friends and being a force of personality that others cling to. That might be the other game they did. I haven't played it yet but I might if I can find a decent torrent or mega sale of it.

Who thought this was good game design, I have to play intentionally like shit to have a satisfying conclusion? Garbage. Coolest villian in the game is on the cover and doesn't get 3 words, the rest is just some painkiler wannabe chasing you around because he's simping for granny.

Darth Nihilus looked so cool but was ultimately set up to just stall the end of the game and give you a simpy darkside thot.
The undead golem would have been cooler if I was able to get him to aid me against the final boss via super evil intimidation or cunning persuasion. Instead it was beating his cock in 3-4 times and calling him retarded until he voluntarily decided to give up.
Also as for the final boss given the exhile's issues with the force you should have been able to side with the final boss in some sort of fashion, but Star Wars [the ip] hates any shade of choice that isn't paragon or renegade. If a character with the force were to do something mildly considered evil they spiral into a bad guy every fucking time in that ip.
