Controls great, looks great, amazing usic and atmosphere, little challenge in certain parts but mostly a pretty easy and relaxing experience.

Controls work well within game's framework, it looks pretty good, has the widest variety of levels and music and feels like a well-made game with 16-bit era senisibilities (and that's not a bad thing, mind you). Not hard but just good enough for a challenging and fun run.

Still fun, still gorgeous and music is as memorable as before. Minigames may be tiresome but they are well-made if you compare them with some other platformers of that time that veered into gimmicks as well.

Tiresome overly long levels, annoying box placements, unnecessary gameplay additions like grind rails and rope swinging, very weird visual design that looks more like an ugly Illumination cartoon than anything Crash. Music is hit or miss (with "hit" being tracks that allude to the original trilogy soundtrack, like one in an ice level with rage-inducing Polar chase at the end).
