I'm willing to buy anything that doesn't get stick drift in a week. Apparently this controller has some sort of 'anti-stick drift' selling point. Has anyone here used it that can say whether tht's true or not? I have gone through 4 controllers getting stick drift.

One thing I have learned from experience is that premature drift (the kind that appears after only 1 or 2 months of use) is almost always due to dirt. If you leave the controller lying around anywhere, dust particles will accumulate all over it, and as soon as you pick it up to play and start moving the sticks, some of these particles will end up inside the controller, and some on the potentiometer.
So if you keep your controller protected from dust, inside a bag or a drawer, or something like that, the chances of it lasting longer increase.
My Dualsense has been drift-free for a year now, which is a miracle for me since my previous controllers lasted weeks/months at most.

It's definitely not that for I cover the controller and console with a detroit pistons shirt to keep the dust away from them. Also i've had a xbox one controller that's ancient old and worn the fuck out yet has no stick drift issue.
>>724856704
I heard xbox and nintendo have the same exact problem. It isn't exclusive to ps5.

8bitdo ultimate 2 for xbox feel with TMR sticks or 8bitdo pro 3 for sony feel with TMR sticks. As a bonus you get more buttons and paddles on the back. If you like can't for some reason live without original sony/xb pads, then find someone who can replace sticks with TMRs.

You're clearly tech illiterate if you somehow don't know what hall effects are in 2025 and are still "willing to buy" something that doesn't stick drift. If you actually cared about that you would've looked into it long ago.
If you want to be a complete fucking tool consoomer, you can buy third party hall effect sticks and either install them yourself into your existing dualsense, or find a professional who will do it for you.
There. That's your most expensive option for a brainless 0 IQ consoomer like you.
Or just be normal and buy a $30 8bitdo that outperforms your shitsense. It's up to you.

I have never experienced stick drift in my life

I went through 4 RMA'd Razer Onzas a decade ago before I gave up and just asked for my money back. Every single time one of the buttons failed, just stopped registering, because it was some cheap plastic shit. Hilarious that they really presented it as some premium product when it was anything but. And my experience wasn't unique, go ahead and search for Razer Onza, you get similar stories by the thousands, and of course the occasional shills trying to say it didn't happen.

I've been avoiding Razer controllers like the plague since than and I recommend everyone else to do the same. It's a garbage company that sells cheap plastic products that were designed to fail in less than a year at premium price.

I did. After 6 years of using xbox one pad. But I play pretty gently, I guess. My brother can't have a pad for more than a year without getting drift.

Given I tend not to look at my controller when using it how it looks is not a big factor for me. How it feels and how it works matter far, far more.

stick drift could easily be fixed with a calibration tool, i have no fucking idea why consoles don't have that

Op probably plays battlefield 6 because I hear everyone who plays that is getting it. It most likely has something to do with shooter using e3 for sprint.
Anonymous No.724857740 [Report]
It's not just about drift though. TMRs are like million times more precise, it's still not the equal of a mouse, but it's way closer than fucking potentiometer.

Reminder that if the controller doesn't have gyro that makes it useless for any game that requires aiming. Reminder that xbox is dragging the industry down and forcing devs to implement aim assist to compensate by refusing to implement gyro, a standard feature on their competitors and most 3rd party controllers for close to 2 decades.

One of my friends plays cawwadooty on ps5, he goes through the controllers really fast. Like he needs a new one every few months because either the triggers are fucked of the stick is fucked.

I don't play fps games on controllers and mine last years, still using an xboner from 2016 and 3 year old xbox elite. just works.
