Depends what you are into. Like, not just character archetypes, but also gameplay and story. Let's look at the big three Hoyo games for example.
Genshin Impact is open world adventure action game, with frankly insane amount of content, because it has been going on for several years now. You can mostly play it as regular game, so there's no harm trying it out.
Honkai Star Rail is turn-based JRPG with space opera theme. The story can get very long, but personally I really like it. The preferences might vary, though. The game also handles characters really well, with several older characters still having story relevance later on.
Zenless Zone Zero is action game, kinda like DMC. It has the sexiest character designs of Hoyo games, but also the weakest story in my opinion. Also, devs really don't seem to have clear idea of what they want to be doing.
