That's unfortunate and sounds exactly like what happened when I tried starting one there. Zelda a longer history than a lot of the games with generals there and obviously a more dedicated community as well. I think it's because most of them hang out on places like discord and even reddit more than they would on /vg/. If a /tlozg/ ever did manage to catch and stay, I'd be interested in the OC art, the little inside jokes and all that. If the Starfield general can do it that's where I hang out sometimes despite it being as slow as it is then LOZ fans can too.

Nah, that argument has a point. Games are just games. Yes they can be cool, shit, fantastic, artistic, beautiful, ugly, etc. and take up tons of times and passion, but so can significant others, jobs, etc. for instance, and at the end of the day, those are just those things as well, but at least they have a significant function outside of just having, doing, or using them for instance. Games don't, which is why they are recreational, they don't matter in the grand scheme. So why get upset over them, or at the very least why let an upset feeling linger, it's fine to get upset in the moment, but you also have to be mature and understand that you only need to be so upset, again, it's a game, not losing a limb or a job.

And yes, while we all have our own definitions of worth at the end of the day, there are still objective truths to levels. For instance, you need food, that's an objective truth, and food is for the most part pretty damn good, and everyone likes a variety of it. That's fine, but I'm gonna focus on a passion for food or an enjoyment out of that, solely because it is more necessary and important to care about. That's the truth.

You can care about games and enjoy them, that's fine, I do, most people do. But getting upset over it is silly. What's getting mad at the end of the day gonna do about you losing or a glitch happening? Absolutely nothing, that's the real waste of energy, investment and time. At least getting mad about losing your job is more justified because you need money to survive for instance. But again, letting that rage and annoyance consume you is just as bad, gotta temper your levels even if you do get mad at the game, shouting is way better of a method of anger over a game than say throwing a controller through a window for instance.
