"Just get a gaming laptop bro"
I used to be a Desktop gaming Chad, and I would have watercooling for my CPU and GPU, and I'd get like 35-40 degree temps during gaming, that was fucking beautiful.

Anyway after my last PC (about 5 years ago) I didnt really want to play anything so I sold off the parts during that GPU shortage and had no PC for a few years...

Lately I felt like getting back into PC gaming and I thought I'd try out getting a gaming laptop, and while I am surprised at how well gaming laptops are today in terms of performance, the temps that the parts run at is fucking insane.

Anytime I do anything that requires a little bit of performance, the laptop immediately heads up to like 90-100 degrees, and if im gaming for more than 20 minutes, its at 100 degrees flat the entire time, I can feel the heat radiating from it.

This doesn't feel good at all. I'm going to build a desktop PC now. Fuck this laptop shit.

Yes, the watercooling also made my old Desktop PC extremely quiet.

But seeing temps stay sub 40 degrees C while maxing out a game felt amazing.

Why is /v/ so much more passive aggressive than any other place?

Ive been posting on /fit/ and /biz/ for years and people there are way more chill, /v/ is full of angry posters, and you all have the same personality it seems, always angry at the OP (me)

I wonder why this happens specific to /v/

It's not specific to this board, you just see it more here because there is more people browsing. It's people that may have problems IRL and come here to let off steam.
