Because I needed MLB Nature. Without it I'd end runs under 400 wit. Generally I'd get 1200 speed by the Japan Cup senior and that's with 3 Speed cards and training basically ONLY speed.

My runs had at least two marus per attempt, not like any of them were any dominant, even if they were well built

Not exactly encouraging, but at least Mayano has a 95% success rate at blocking other Fronts when they exist. Still lost to a blocked S Maru once somehow, guess the girls didn't activate Red Shift.

I expect that round 2 is where the real challenge will begin. For now, my second loss was only because there were two Natures and a Mayano in the room and Ogurin gassed out before she could overtake summer Maru.

Guides telling people to stack stamina debuffs was an awful gaslight, by the way. They mostly do nothing to hurt fronts, which are the biggest threat.

During my first entry alone, I encountered three different players whose summer Maruzens all had sub-500 stamina.

Lots of casuals heard that fronts were meta and expected an easy golden ticket to finals, but even the most optimal umas can't salvage trainers with shitty decks, bad parents, subpar career strats, etc, etc. It's a serious grind to make good fronts, and most people aren't prepared for it.
