He's not wrong, the game is perfectly "balanced" (no fun allowed) except for red tools, which are just stupidly broken for no reason. Hollow Knight was much more fun.

idk man I haven't tried to play Hollow Knight since finishing Silksong, but I think I'd miss all the variety of combat options it gives you, plus the different movesets, the fucking grappling hook, not to mention movement in general just feels a lot cooler and better in Silksong, it's not even close. It's like comparing rock climbing to parkour.
