We already know it's adding in the RPG mechanics. Modern Day is being removed in its entirety to solely focus on Edward's story and they're redoing the map so that the towns can be seamless and the islands more unique like in Rogue but that's all we've learned.
Since it's gonna be modern combat instead of the OG I imagine we'll get the option to use the pistol as a quick-fire like in Syndicate and an aimed fire item, we'll get the two saber swords, we'll get some single cutlass, and then I have no idea what other weapons they can give us. Hidden Blade as an actual weapon?
