In Dark Souls if you hit a Mimic with a Lloyd's talisman it will open and you can get the item without killing it.

How many games let you attack the mimic while it's still in it's camouflage? I attack every mimic, if possible, early because I hate when characters are to dumb in a video game to fall for the same trick over and over again.
