People actually still buy Paradox games when they release? It's going to take like 3-5 years for this shit to be playable.
And that's assuming they don't fold up by then or just abandon it like CK3 and Vic3.

It look fun and quite deep so I'm not sure I agree with what these reviews are whining about, but I'll wait for a little while before getting it. No idea about the performance.

Victoria 3 has been getting a lot of good ambitious updates lately. It’s still buggy and unfinished but I think it’s going in a good direction, unlike CK3.

I love how linux fags never shut the fuck up about how easily the game runs and actually it runs better than windows, yet every single fucking game has 100 threads on any videogame forum begging for linux fixes.
pathetic.
>I don’t even care about the game I just want achievements >My laptop from 15 years ago can’t run this game >My thirdworld shithole’s nationalist fantasies aren’t portrayed well enough >I knew exactly what the game was going to be but I bought it anyway just to give it a bad review
I hate that releasing unfinished games is the norm now but most reviewers are subhuman

This always happens, though. You're looking at a sequel following up a game that's been out for over a decade and has kept receiving along the way. performance is legitimate complaint, though.

Not that I disagree, but it's a fucking map... It shouldn't take the GPU they suggest, it's overkill.
CPU I can understand but GPU just screams of jeet coding.

It's not just a map, there's millions of things being simmed across hundreds of countries and the map itself does process the fancy terrain graphics so you can swap to them even if you're on a lower detail map mode.

Considering how many systems and math is going on, like the other anon said, it's not just a map painting simulator anymore. It is much closer to Vicky 2 or 3 in terms of complexity from what I saw.
I am staring at the screen and don't know what to do first lol.
The UI is also completely different from EU4. The tutorial wasn't much of a help, so I guess I just have to play on the slowest speed and try to figure this cryptic shit out.
