Also wanted to add my cope is that a good chunk of consoomers just bought it for the few exclusives that exist and/or for their S2 Editions and then once their done or even dropped them halfway they just let the stupid thing collect dust until there's another game worth buying. Anecdotally, my friend's like that. He bought MKW and DKB on release and hans't played them since. The only game he really plays on it is Fantasy Life or whatever it's called.

If you take the case with Vinny, I think he hasn't touched his since Bananza, 4 fucking months ago, and is only playing ports because he got keys for them or requested them for S2. I don't count his one-off of AZ because that was purely for content's sake and he's pretty much done with Pokemon as is.

I honestly don't get what people see in that game other than then the sex appeal. I played the demo on Steam and was immensely bored with it and watching playthroughs of during later parts didn't do anything for me. Eve's not even that attractive either besides her figure.

not to be retarded but this doesnt really mean anything. still dont see people playing, still dont see people talking about the games. sales are good for the first year but I would be cautious over how it does next year. Mario kart is the biggest game ever yet you havent heard about world in 3 months. sales does not equal interest and i imagine most of these consoles are collecting dust

I'm as much of a tendie as they come, and that's definitely part of it. When the switch 1 launched, ps4 was getting a second wind after releasing the pro, cutting the price of the base model to the same price as the switch, and finally releasing the shit they've been promising for the past 5 e3s, regardless of their quality, and steam was utterly cleaning it up. Now, ps5 is floundering and only kept from doing worse thanks to xbox somehow falling even further, and pc prices have exploded due to crypto mining and the plateau of technological improvement, and optimization is at an utter crisis level thanks to devs relying on pre baked ue5 settings and ai upscaling and fake frames to deliver worse performance than decade old games on weaker hardware.
