I like to think I'm above aesthetic considerations and that gameplay is the only factor that matters to me but comparing Tarkov to Arc Raiders is how I know that I actually do give a shit about looks. Tarkov doesnt look technically incredible or anything but the eastern euro slav bullshit all sort of comes together for me in a satisfying way- Arc Raiders looks like fucking slop. Tarkov also has 10 years of bullshit crammed into it.

there's so much shit I know isn't gunna be in the game.. the ability to heal ANYONE including random people in Arc Raiders is awesome, I wouldn't even be remotely surprised if Tarkov launches into 1.0 with no buddy-healing system (you know.. the way people fix eachother in real life 90% of the time)

Close combat devs gave everyone steam keys when they moved to steam because they have a sensible mature audience.

This is one of my biggest issues with EFT aside from wiggly-woos, that you have no effective way to actually heal anyone other than yourself. I'm not even talking about a downed state, I mean if you want to heal your bro's heavy bleed then you need to drop the item onto the ground, hope it doesn't glitch through the map, and then they need to pick it up and use it. If they were worried about Obdolbos trolling or something, just make it so you can't use injectors on other players at all, or hell give the healing a 3rd party opt-in aspect altogether. I have doubts that fat fuck Nikita could ever figure out the dragging people at this point, but let me slap a bandage on the homies ffs.

You use those cheats to help get dumb fucks willing to spend money helping them get high end gear that they'll just lose anyway when they die to cheaters (maybe even you!) then when they die and lose their high end gear they pay you to help get them more high end gear, and the cycle repeats itself. The issue is they just ban their accounts which is basically fucking whatever, they can just buy the game again and hop on a new account. Pretty sure cheaters who engage in RMT even factor that into their operations as mere business expenses. I'd imagine the devs just don't care because if a cheater gets banned and buys a new copy of the game that's just more copies sold.

The character models don't look that bad when you can actually see them for once. Europan soldiers and the mech pilot with the fat ass are some notable standouts. If you could get the ruski conscripts with the doll faces, trench coats and metal plates they look just as good too.

Pretty much the same model that Rockstar employs because every ban means that you need to buy another key. Great way to pad out those stats because go online just to fuck with people is the only way to play GTA now. Unless you decide to take up RPing as a meter maid like a pansy.
