i've always loved Majora's Mask for how dark and weird it was, as much as i'd like the series to explore that territory again it probably wouldn't be as good as MM was and just make it seem less special. not just the tone but the masks and 3 day cycle were all really experimental, it's such a unique game even for Nintendo.

wind waker is my favorite even if objectively I agree that OOT is a better game. if WW had just a couple more good dungeons a little less railroading itd be the best one easily. the triforce hunt was fun btw.

Last time I played through it, I decided to try packing as much as I could into each cycle. For the first time, I even forwent skipping time when I gave the sword to the smiths and kept progressing.
It was actually very satisfying.

NTA but I think the Zola/River Zora lend themselves much better to the whole barbarian thing. Sea/normal Zoras lean more toward gracefulness.
I can't think of a good alternative off the top of my head, though. I'm not opposed to big Ruto, but she just doesn't seem like a good fit for the archetype. Honestly, even a Goron would be a better pick. Female Gorons do exist in OOT, after all.

It’s always been one of those things that bugged me more than it should. Magical light beams and stuff is fine. But if she created the water, is she creating literal physical water? Or is it magical water that disappears after a while and if so, why water specifically instead of any other magical effect. I know it’s autism to argue about magic, but still.

Links Awakening and LTTP will always be GOAT.

It really is the one 3D game most deserving of a full-on remake, right after OoT.
So much scrapped content they could implement. I also agree if Nintendo didn't rush it out the door to the art style controversy, it really could've been one of the top 3 greatest Zelda games of all time.
