Explain to me why a license to use a game and ToS violations being able to revoke it are bad without sounding like a retard.

Pretty sure that the closest IRL equivalent is being trespassed or exited from an event/property. And in most of those cases if it is for a service/event you have paid for you are entitled to a refund unless the thing was consumable. Games are not consumables and are being sold as ongoing access services so they should only be revocable with a refund being issued. The exception to this might be where the license was revoked for actual illegal activity but that ends up in a whole different wheelhouse in the end.

That's simply not the case. If you get trespassed from an event or commercial property you are not entitled to a refund.

The end user still isn't accustomed to the idea of a license and expects to own a product in the same way that they would a physical game
ToS agreements have been ruled as unenforceable in court since no one reads them and the companies don't expect the user to read them

You do not and never owned a physical game. A game is intellectual property, like a song or a movie. You can purchase storage mediums that contain copies of that property that come with limited use licenses.

We don't care. Complain to Nintendo for more games to play instead of posting here
