will we ever get another REAL DK game? The gameplay in Bananza is fun, but aesthetically it’s pretty much “3D Mario… but with MONKEYS!!!”

I dunno, I feel like Bananza is aesthetically more in line with the original DKCs than DK64 or the Returns games with its overall more realistic environments and atmospheric music.

One of the key directors at Nintendo mentioned both 3D and 2D Donkey Kong together, so would be surprised if we didn't see another Country game at some point.

It seems to work for Mario, I hope they extend this to the DK games. That being said, I hope a 2D entry would be more Country-esque than the likes of DK'94 or the Mario vs DK games.
