Been looking into Iceland myself lately. Actually visiting it next year. Seems like a nice place. Right now it and maybe Norway and Switzerland are probably the best places to live if you don't want to leave Europe. Maybe Oz and New Zealand would be options. Yeah, no, I'd still much rather live in Germany than in just about any Eastern European country. Germany is still a good country. It could be a much better country if people voted differently but life here is still safe and affordable. I got a nice two room apartment for 300€ a month and never had to fear hunger or homelessness, even when I was unemployed.
