How much should one spend on a gaming pc? little over 10 years ago 1.5k would get you a high end pc but now it barely gets you the best performing gfx card.

sad. i spent 1.5k on a high end PC 10 years ago and i still use it.

Depends on what you use it for and how much money you have.
Something like 1.5k computer sounds a bit overkill to me. If I were to build new computer for my needs, it would probably be around 1k range

Just don't be the guy who dumps $3k on a PC only to use it as a 4chan machine

Why do you need a high end machine? A five year old mid budget PC will play most if not all titles at 1080p 60fps. You don't need more than that unless you're an elitist virgin in which case the government/your parents supply you with autismbux and money is not a concern.

Wtf those people exist? could have bought at least a second or third screen to have chan on it while gaming some chill Singleplayer game ... or give to me I have more used :P

I did a full upgrade a few years back to the best of the best at the time, then wound up playing old consoles on a CRT for two years rather than using it. It really made me stop worrying about trying to have the best of the best. Games people rave about to this day have so many technical issues, but we didn't care. I enjoy shit so much more now than I did a few years again.
