I was honestly enjoying Pokemon AZ until the "main" boss. After that, I just had fun instead of grinding. Recommend.

Played 8 hours straight yesterday running around finding rainbow bolts and conpleting side quests, then got some nice players to trade me a Scizor and Steelix, and I found a shiny swablu... it's such a good time despite the jank, but it isn't as janky as S/V at the very least... that game has something that rubs me the wrong way aside of the bugs and glitches.

Put off playing it for a couple weeks, I havnt hated it so far. Probably going to fire up the wii homebrew channel and play soul silver when the main story is over.
The Legends formula feels like its 90% of the way there but gamefreak is incapable of doing it right. Something like letting the player take full control of the pokemon instead of this weird psuedo point and click gameplay or maybe bigger/longer fights so the fact higher end moves can aoe/cleave doesnt feel so wasted
