Bungie’s Halo just has this look and feel through the artstyle, music, settings, tone, etc where no other shooter fills the void.
MS relentlessly mangling Halo’s corpse for over a decade makes me wish I never liked these games. How do you let go

Unironically don't be sad it's over, and smile because it happened.
Every good series, both new and old, will eventually die or become a zombie of it's former self. Instead of being mad that Halo didn't remain good forever, be happy that we got 5 great games out of Bungie and find a new series to enjoy, even if it's nothing like Halo you can still enjoy it for different reasons. Eventually they will get bad too but there will always be new games for you to discover. Nothing stays good forever.
