The point is that you're supposed to think of a complete game, that doesn't need any external input, updates, mods etc. that you would need to refresh your experience while ON the island.
It's a mental excersise to think of a game that would keep you entertained for as long as possible and that can stand on its own legs and try to imagine what it would be like to play a single game to its utmost limit.

If you can get new content for the game at any point it defeats the premise and IDK why you want to defeat that premise so badly.
