Name a single relationship in a long running ongoing story that has been passed around by multiple writers that HASN'T been dicked around with, subverted, ended, flipped on its head, ended out right, or at the very least violated in some alternate reality "what if" scenario. I fucking hate TV shows. One of the reasons I hate TV shows is because of money milking philosophy. There is no artistic incentive to end the show in a narritively meaningful way, so often times what they will do instead is drag it on FOOOORRREEEEVERRRRRR and put every character through needless and silly arcs until you basically hate every character in the show. Or at least that's the case for me. Same for comics obviously. Sometimes it's best if you think of these things in a vacuum of beginning and ending in their golden ages of "wherever your favorite part started" to "wherever your favorite part ended" and then disregard the rest as if it's non-canon. And it might as well be non-canon. It probably doesn't even have the same writer. Of if it does, he likely had a major life altering paradigm shift. So fuck it. Pick and choose.

I am 5'6, hairy but balding, okay in the face, but i have still gotten more than I ever thought I would have deserved to. I lost count on my body count. Pretty good when I thought I would be a perma-vergin out of highschool. The only reason I bring up this humble brag is to say that, even though, one can assume it must have happened off panel, you would have to be fucking high to assume Gambit wasn't slaying an absolute ocean of pussy. When I look in the mirror, my self confidence isn't great. I surprise myself at how well I have done, because in that mirror I see a toad of a man. A guy that looks like Gambit would have to be spilling the moldiest of spaghetti and then kicking it at women to repel them to avoid getting molested. Maybe Rogue isn't pure, but there is no way Gambit is a saint.

I happened upon a video about the production of the 90s X-men series a while ago, and I think they were outsourcing a good amount (all?) of animation to Japanese companies. Back then they were like sweatshops, producing good quality animation for cheap. Kinda like Japan outsources all of its animation to Koreans now.
