NES Metroid is a better game than Zero Mission. ZM holds your hand too much and confines you too many times while NEStroid is open from the beginning and lets you go wherever. It's more fun to explore.

I don't think this bug is Kanden but the resemblance to the Stinglarva is too uncanny to ignore. I think there's a chance that this species was probably one of the aliens involved with the experiment that made Kanden.
