Playing 16 right now and it kinda sucks. Combat isnt nearly as fun as the 7 Remake games imo.

7 Remake is definitely a lot better, but if you're on PC at least try a difficulty mod, it helps a ton.

i am on pc . any mod you recommend ? also im getting the urge to try some of the other FF games on pc since i played most of them prior on consoles. How do 13 and 15 run on pc ?

clive's moveset is weird and kind of retarded. most of it exists for juggling, but your best launcher is hold and release triangle, so you have to claw grip to do it during a combo
it's fun if you get used to it

Essentially gives you Final Fantasy Mode without having to finish the game first. It sounds like it will be overwhelming but it really isn't. It's what most other games would have called Hard and let you play as a fresh start.
I also avoided using potions on top of using it but that's up to you.

See above for the mod, as for the other games, XV is supposed to be excellent but I'm not sure, only played it on PS4 myself. XIII needs a mod:

It does a few things but more notably stops UI effects from tanking your framerate no matter what hardware you have. With that installed, it's perfect. Looks amazing at stupidly high resolutions too.
There are also mods on nexus to do stuff like use cutscene models in gameplay, that probably looks great too, but I didn't personally use them.

Understandable, I don't have a problem with it but I also wouldn't call it fast paced. I really like using Paradigm Shift with the right timing to get a free ATB refresh, never gets old.
