I shared some life experiences in a anonymous agony threas last year and was called haze irl for it. No idea why, i didn't say anything bad about pedos

Mandalores vid on this game shined a pretty big spotlight on this game and its dev. I remember the dev showing up in the comments saying he was gonna gather a team to continue it or the sequel (this was 4 years ago, sorry for misremembering)
Then i saw someone who had worked with the dev made a video talking about how absolute ass tier everything behind the scenes was

It's been over for a while, bro.
Last crowdfunding it received was used completely on crack, literally, no hyperbole. The motherfucker behind the game is a complete crackhead and I guess that's how he came up with this insane plots. A total blessing and a curse right there.
Anyway, if he ever tried to deliver something he would have failed too. Most of the cast stopped working with the guy because they got no payment and some of them got mistreated a lot.
Haze himself is now a big VA working on actual dubs of various animes, so this is above his paygrade now.

Though now we have the leaked storyboard of the whole series and if someone insane with enough money and time wants to retry it, you could try to buy the rights from the crackhead dev, pay every VA to come back, license Nieve's soundtrack again and try to recapture that lightning in another bottle.

The game is the manifestation of a teens inner monologue and made up scenarios of where he's the intelligent cool teen in a world which is filled with adults and therefore unintelligent compared to him. When I was younger I was just like Haze. Making up scenarios where I'm the cool guy and anti-racist, anti-anime/loli and politically correct while also retaining a vigilante's image of myself. Now spending time here I've grown so much into a sociopathic lolicon freak that loves gore videos.

People tend to think Haze was some mouthpiece for the writer but he was 100% meant to be an unlikable asshole.

This was mostly due to the game being unfinished though, the original idea was that you'd switch perspectives between Haze and a 2nd protagonist who was the opposite of Haze in every way, slowly becoming more and more like the other after each chapter.

I never really got the whole haze is a mouthpiece thing when the part of the game we do have constantly shits on him. Other characters constantly poke fun at how he's a punk loser, he gets beat up multiple times, and the end has him literally getting stabbed for being a complete idiot when confronting Gabriel.

Haze honestly isn't really THAT much of an asshole anyway. Minus the people he kills and his anger sperg outs, he's only directly mean to his parents (they deserve it), Craig (the guy who punched him while Clara was being taken away), and Eris (Eris initiates the hostility). He's genuinely nice to Brian, Lili, and Fiona.

I've noticed a lot of guys have a two part phase where when they first become teenagers they're into extremely edgy shit. Dark and crude humor, society is false and evil, religion is a tool to control the masses, "genocide of the low IQ would be good actually" crazy political takes.
