Angela Anaconda was aired in country I live in. They still kept the Angela bit in localization of the Digimon movie. I remember being confused as hell about what the fuck it is when I saw it as a kid.

It's a fun slice of life show with great characters and comedy. Their teacher is like Robin Williams (since female but looks male and has male voice). Nanette needs correction.
This was by far one of the most visually repulsive 90s shows which is fucking saying something. It has long since been dethroned of course, but even kid me knew to stay far the fuck away from it.

I think if they didn't straddle the goddamn uncanny valley with its character designs, I might've given the show a chance. I'd rather watch Robot Jones or Sheep in the Big City or Cow and Chicken or Butt Ugly Martians or something more pleasant-looking than this shit.

It's a shame it didn't reach a wider audience, it really felt like the perfect 2000s era show, but just didn't catch on for some reason.

Sheep in the Big City and Mission Hill are probably the most underrated 00's cartoons. Or rather, the ones I still somehow think about from time to time because they'd be the only shows I'd catch in the early hours of the morning as a kid.
I fucking hated this, for being so weird, but pepper ann is still the one I despised the most, for taking the spot the show I liked. I think it swapped with either Angry beavers or Hey arnold.

Gonna check out Mission Hill as well. I loved what they did with Sheep in the Big City. Honestly, I'd say it kinda holds up today, even if it's dated. The writing still feels solid. It's 2000s era so random humour, but it feels like the writers actually had some writing credentials rather than some of the other shit

Really? I remember watching it as a kid but as far as "school kids hanging out" shows go, I can't say I remember it as fondly as Recess, Weekenders or even Doug. The only thing about it that was memorable was the weird ass artstyle.

Was the idea to kill the franchise since it wasn't getting Pokemon numbers or something? And I'm not implying Pokemon didn't anything equally as stupid things during its early years (or even now), but who thought chopping up several movies then adding in music that has almost nothing to do with the subject matter was a good idea?
