That's true. When the lights are out, it freely stalks you and doesn't typically go back in the holes. When the light is on, it has an "oxygen" meter that falls as it's in the light, and eventually it can't take it and crawls back into a hole unless it sees you.

Still one of the best REAL horror games ever made
- No bullshit reliance on jumpscare (yeah, they have them, but they didn't abuse it unlike some backrooms or fnaf trash)
- No combat, meaning players can't just trivialize the object of fear by killing it
- Peak ambience 6 atmosphere, even if some of the effects were a bit over the top

I can't believe anyone would even exist who truly believes some FOTM jumpscare mascot horror crap is better horror game than Amnesia: The Dark Descent
