Women are so greatly idolized and protected in western society it's no wonder so many men want to be women.
Often naturally skilled in social interaction, desired for your looks regardless of quality, given more leeway in most circumstances, and opportunities are everywhere, from education to the workforce and more.
The main drawbacks are that you are weak, and you are the one to bear the child. It's a real vulnerability but you sure gain a hell of a lot.

In Morrowind you have a very slightly easier time being female due to a couple of quests. IIRC one is a "gentleman thief" that will leave peacefully if you kiss him, the other is during the main quest where you have to convince a misandrist Telvanni to give you political support. Which she will give you immediately if you are female, while if you are male you are forced to pathetically beg and scrape for her help (or you can murder her and her entire posse - the chad option).

Male characters always weigh more so they are always slightly faster than females at the same speed stat.
