Honestly I just feel like he bit off more than he can handle for the game. It's pretty fucking ambitious and there's some really great ideas in the game that could be awesome if they were properly executed like the Atlas boss fight but it's extremely obvious he just doesn't have the skill and experience to properly implement them. Some parts really need to be redone from scratch. The corporate prison break part in the snow chapter has to be one of the most god awful things I've played in a long time. The devs basically just threw in a Payday loud heist without any clue as to what actually makes them work.
For one thing, that shit is intended for co-op so it's already inherently a bad idea. You've got deployables like ammo kits and medbags so that's another reason that shit works in Payday, not here. Finally there's lulls in the action in Payday when the cops fall back before sending in another wave giving you time to rearm and fix your fucking drills if they need fixing. Here it's just nonstop. Fuck, they even just literally spawn right on top of you. Also escorting the prisoners to the escape zone is a pain in the ass because their pathfinding is total dogshit. Dudes should have just scrapped that shit altogether and gone back to the drawing board for that mission.

The image is from before the new patch. In current patch strangely the only gadgets that are doubled are the fruity bomb and perfume bomb.
And equipping not-doubled firecrackers doubles it again in current patch.

And after some minor testing I found out that the sticky bomb and native spear that you pick up from chest and enemy random drop do not double at all, while the same weapons bought from Raggs do double.
Whic is all the more confusing because the firecrackers I picked from a chest at Inferno valley.
I don't think a 3rd party site fix is going to help if the issue is rooted deeper, but I'll do the catbox thing in a moment.
