It's still in the process of confirming the signatures are valid in the EU, these things take time. But it's just about confirmed it will go into legislative debate.

Votes are being counted by member states still because muh bureaucracy. We won't know the total amount until later on next year but early estimates from the governing body said it looked like it'd go through. After that it'll be more discussions and policy stuff. Realistically we won't know anything about it for a few years. The UK recently did their discussion on their vote where a number of parties very clearly supported it but the government just said "yeah nah we won't change it because it would mess with our new online safety act to steal your info :)" and closed it.

they are gonna do the same thing the UK did >we cannot control private servers, so nah fuck that
the UK literally said no because they thought private servers could interfere with the "Online Safety Act"

Addendum. That basis is really stupid. Private servers aren't the only way to preserve online games. An offline mode could work. P2P is an option. They're 100% aware of this but UK parliament is just really retarded. Which is sad. The Brits should revolt,

Based on testimony from Ross SKG was in the works well before The Crew went down. The Crew was just the wave they tried to ride. But any game shut-down could've worked.

what brits?
London is 75% pakis/jeets, and if any "brits" do as much as sneeze in their direction, they get two sassy bitches in uniform knocking on their door

he's been rightfully bitching about videogame deaths for a while before The Crew. he took the opportunity because it was a highly popular game by a popular company, so it had higher chances of the initiative gaining traction

You are just trying to start a pedantic argument. It was literally the flame that started the months long hate train where people went through his entire online history and brought all his cringe to light.

which means absolutely nothing. petitions have never meant anything to a sitting politician unless it's election-determining in scale and on a major issue. >>725154057
it's literally a petition.
