At the very least, they should stick to this release model as it's clearly worked out for them. They've held on to full engagement for a whole month and had play numbers rapidly increase each week. If they did the Telltale model, interest would drop off from the wait for Episode 2 alone, and if they had released all episodes on day 1, there likely wouldn't have been the same player number growth. The only downside is that it will take longer between each new game to release this way.

Next game is a Critical Role DnD game, Dispatch was only intended to help keep the lights on until that releases because AdHoc isn't getting money from Wolf Amongus 2 because TT is so fucking incompetent they couldn't produce a game based off the script they commissioned from AdHoc. Most VNs have more branching and reactivity, but conversely they are just text on top of a sprite so it's easy. The king of reactivity for actual games is Alpha Protocol, though it's a mess for other reasons, and even a lot of CRPGs have more branching then this game does. I love Dispatch because I don't mind a tight story that is well presented, but it's pretty clear from the leaks we're going to get to the end and have it be more or less a Mass Effect ending where you make a moral choice, the romance flags get checked, and your other conversation flags pick renegade or paragon.

The big thing I've actually sourced is that he helped make everything much more serious and with real stakes instead of the campy bullshit like with all the meme dialogue during the bar fight like "I'm temporarily blinded" and the dude Malevola was choking out with her tail saying he's into it. You also get perks for all situations, for example if a handler likes you you get a perk for that, but if he hates you you get a different perk for it, so just have fun and don't try to minmax it
