Nothing will happen. But it won't be successful. People simply won't buy it. And no one will care. It will seem like people just lost interest. Eventually, people will forget the game ever existed. GTA 6 will be doomed to fade into obscurity. Its main use will be as source material for streamers and youtubers who, as time goes on, will release retrospective videos with titles like "Remember GTA 6?" to which viewers will reply, "Oh yeah, that happened," before moving on with their lives as if nothing ever happened. The world will just keep turning without GTA 6, and nobody will be able to do anything about it because nothing ever happens.

Genuinely worry about the mental state of anyond who thinks there's a chance gta 6 doesn't sell well.

It will break records on day one, before there's even a consensus or news or talk about any bugs, issues, woke, or if the game is even worth buying. It will probably break records on pre orders.

I'm thinking it might be hubris manifest, I think they might fly too high with this release, and maybe, that will be a blessing for us all. Maybe it should be a mess, like the videogame Tower of Babel. There are a number of things one can point to that indicates the game may have very bad implications, and I just pray to God things go well, not exactly for the game itself, but everything it concerns. I really don't believe it will have a perfect launch, or maybe it will have a pretty decent launch, but then the game will be shockingly unspectacular and people will complain abundantly about it.

I don't want it to be successful, simply because the vehicle it will be for dishonorable scummy practices in the industry, and given gta online, there's 0 reason it won't be. It might be revolutionarily bad. Once again, we've seen what they've done with gta online, and look at how much of a mess that game is.

There will be a second vidya crash, but not in the way you think. It will simply coincide with the "everything else" crash that's fast approaching.

'tard here. It would kill hype between now and the next trailer (which I would expect soon) however due to how far it away it is the hype will build up closer to release.
I would fully expect they release more media to keep the hype up because hype down = stocks being down. I still fully expect as to what >>725165890 said and it will be a huge launch however the hype between now and then will be muted.
