I kinda thought so too. Then I went back to play botw in master mode and I'm just bored. You have so many more options and ways to handle problems in totk it's not even funny. Still sucks that they didn't add more areas, the Underworld caves are almost always the same and the sky stuff gets old fast
It was bad. Sales figures for it were so massive that it is clear it's fans are mostly not even Zelda enjoyers. It's also pretty basic but it's fans act like it's this incredibly innovative game that did so many new things, when it just isn't.

I'll never understand this take. TOTK is just BOTW but better. The fusion mechanic fixes the durability problem. The dungeons are far better. The bosses are far better. There is more enemy variety. There is more content. The difficulty is higher. The only thing BOTW has over TOTK is that it was sold for $60 instead of $70.

No it was awful unfinished game that reuse the same 10 enemies over and over again. More time that pass the more people will realize how shit both botw and totk are.
