I did. The maps were entirely helpful and confusing at worst. And I feel the marketing should have played it up as a 2-player co-op, because I figure the controls are actually mechanically advanced for younger players and women. Even if it's really just sticks and triggers, having to control 2 characters at the same time is a leap in difficulty.

realistically what could they have done to make the game more popular? Personally I think they should have made young Bayo way more interested in sex. And all of her dances should have been clumsier versions of her adult ones as she tries to develop her sex appeal.

It was unironically an incredibly well made game. Had some issues like the map being utterly worthless but it's a great game. I don't think I've ever seen the cosmic powers completely doom a game like they did this one.

Cereza and the Lost Demon is a spin off game. If you've never touched the series you should probably start with 1. The main series are dedicated action games while CatLD is large scale adventure game mostly focused on puzzles and exploring with some combat.

But fuck, this is a weird fucking game to market to an audience. Probably even a nightmare.
