This is probably the least woke game Rockstar put out.

The dialogue uses slurs like faggot and spic and doesn't give a moral lesson to the player, it's realistic and believable, the characters don't preach you anything.

The environment and ost is also peak kino and most self indulgent of rockstar. There are no gay strong ficitonal women, the enemies in sao paulo arent whitewashed so literallly the majority of the people you kill in brazil are black and brown.

Most realistic Rockstar game, hands down

The plot is so incredibly stupid still

I hated every single level that was set in a stinking fucking favela. Hoboken, Branco Offices, Cemetary, Panama. All top tier levels. Everything else? Bleah.
Overall great game, but very easy once you start abusing bullet time. Seriously, beat NYM Hardcore on my first try, just slowtime-headshot-stop slowtime-repeat until you reach the 500th pacebreaking cutscene (seriously, thank fuck the cutscene skipper mod exists and it's not buggy anymore)

Arguably the greatest third person shooter ever made. Absolute unfiltered kino.

I'm surprised Rockstar gave Max a happy ending, which I think is great, Max deserves te be happy.
I'm also glad they wrote the ending of the saga and not Remedy, Alan Wake 2 was pure garbage.

It is the last good rockstar game they ever made but i wish dan houser didn't write it. It's comically cynical and lacks any kind of wit and creativity in the writing that was present in 1 and 2.
1 has so many absolute killer lines in scenes but 2 has dumb shit like glue, or times where Max is flat out narrating exactly what is happening. (Are they moving people?)
And the overall plot is so fucking retarded to begin with. But it has awesome setpieces and a fantastic soundtrack.
I wish the multiplayer could still be played, fuck them for closing the servers down so fast.

I like all 3, but the third would have been better if the missions and cutscenes happened chronologically. Should've started in the bar with the Italian pricks and end at the tiki bar on a beach

MP3 is a very good game and much better story and writing than MP2. It's more fluid and fair in difficulty than 1, but doesn't quite reach the thematic and grandiose feeling of going from one bad day to toppling a drug empire and CEO out of leapfrog revenge.

Are the first two remakes gonna be like MP 3 ?
