It's currently AI voices which can sometimes be decent narrator is really good with AI since he tends to be fairly monotone, it struggles with princess though. The worst is when you're trying to get it to say a common phrase that has a specific cadence and inflection, it gets it wrong like 95% of the time. Such as "Last one upstairs is a rotten egg!" line in this clip. It also tends to distort when she gets to higher pitches which happens a lot.

Not out of the box, I thought about training a Lora for it but there aren't enough animations in the game for it to work, the shifty scene is the only scene that's animated like that afaik. I only found 3 actual animations. Most of the video files in the game are static images moving around with an accompanying alpha mask. I think there's another video that's maybe part of the promotional material that I've seen that's also got shifty flying around but I don't think it's in the game's files.

I think it really depends, if the focus is on one AI monolith then that too is destined for failure. There is not a single thing that is able of sticking around forever, even blackholes eventually die. The only way for AI to truly stick around is to have a ton of individual ones. Local AI's, ones that don't rely on the ever-present access to the internet to function. We are not there yet at a technological level but I was not be surprised that the second that possibility starts cresting the horizon that the government instantly clamps down on it so they are the only ones with access to the good stuff. I can only hope that the technology advances to fast for the slow bureaucracy to effectively regulated. Hell if the internet didn't pop off as quickly as it did so that everyone already had access to it you *know* that it would have been restricted and regulated decades ago.
