During holidays I would go to my grandparents' house in the middle of fucking nowhere, a town of no more than like 500 people and would randomly play vidya or board games with the kids there; as the years went on they all left and I was left alone. Why would you want to play a game you have to learn yourself and constantly move pieces and roll dice when videogames will take care of all that work for you? to me board gamers are fart huffing retards trying to make themselves look smart by reading 50-page rulebooks of 100 different games when in reality they are basically just playing with dolls (pieces) in an organized way.

Depends on the game. tabletop rpgs would be ui hell in vidya form. The only good conversion has been tts just because it emulates the table and moving objects and that's it.

Tabletop Simulator is not a game, it's a platform to play boardgames with. You can play solo, or with randoms from 4chan (i think /vm/ has a thread for it) or just the open lobbies (RIP global chat), and if you play turn based vidya you'll find tabletops can be easily adapted to.
