Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear. What made it criminal to me wasn't the stark change in tone between the base title and its proper sequel, nor was it the tranny because you can ignore it (It was, to me making a mountain out of a molehill, but it was still a molehill), but the part I did find criminal was how Skie was killed via Soultaker, a dagger that was previously destroyed to release the demon Aec'Letec into the world that you defeated. It is solely because of this that I cannot in good conscience call Siege of Dragonspear canon.
For similar reasons with the retconing of the previous Baldur's Gate I & II titles, I can't call Baldur's Gate III a sequel at all. Even the proposed sequel, the Black Hound was more of an Icewind Dale II sequel or an attempt to bring it all together, but that game never released and nor did the realized Jefferson Engine.
