Have you ever stolen a video game?
Not piracy, the physical act of stealing a video game or gaming hardware.

Closest thing was stealing MTG challenger decks from walmart so I could resell the rares online.

>elementary
>other parents would invite the whole class over to their kid's birthday party even if he didn't know them
>parties usually in the backyard, but access to house for stuff like the bathroom
>go over
>find room
>grab games while everyone is going in and out of the house and the parents are busy with the food
>stay a bit
>some kids start wanting to leave
>call parents
>get picked up early
>free vidya

You taught them a valuable lesson about trust at least

I used to work at gamestop and would intentionally fuck up inventory counts to get free vidya. I also ran a pretty decent side hustle with pre-order money, but that was embezzlement, not theft.

That's just asking for trouble.

Dipshit
You handed over a perfectly good window of time for them to notice and narrow down that it must have been someone that left before a certain time

If you count borrowing and not returning the game to a friend as stealing, sure

The only thing I ever stole was comic books. Regular ass first issue of brand new series and they want fifty American dollars in 1997? Get fucked, I took it out of principle.
I do feel bad in hindsight because I’m not a nigger.

I never had the desire to physically steal anything.

It's not like I'd be going back. The kid wouldn't even realize until after the party anyway.

You could not know that, all it would take is for one other kid to talk to him about one of his games and the door is open for them to potentially go find out that things are missing after only 5 kids have left

As a child I was cursed with the knowledge of foresight, I knew what would happen if I were caught and definitely would have by my parents, so I was never able to get away with shady shit.

I almost did one black friday at a walmart when an employee opened one of the vidya cabinets and then left to do something else, but then I looked at what I could grab and realized I didn't want any of them even if they were free.
