What’s the most useless/underpowered job/class you’ve ever tried to make work in an RPG?

I didn't realize until a few years ago that this is Faris from FF5. I've been posting on /e/ for years.

In FF5 I think it's the berserker, since your equipment is limited and a white mage can cast Berserk on a knight to deal more damage.

They're honestly always bad. Any character reliant on counterattacks in a game that the endgame devolves to eliminating enemies without giving them a turn to wipe you is going to be ass. But I love my martial artists too much to be reasonable and bench them.

You can unlock the Berserk ability and put it on Monks if you want to see absolute murder.
