100% the first thing I think of when it comes to people liking bad games though, it's the Pokemon games on Switch. All of them range from "ass" to "meh", with PLA being one of those "could've been amazing, but some people like it for what it is" games.
Outside of that, probably gacha games.
>"here, try this great new gacha game, the rates are great and the art is amazing!"
>gameplay's the same as always
>everything under SSR is trash from Hour 1 because the "great rates" basically make SSR the bottom tier
>hit a paywall after a few days
>all the PVP stuff is P2W as hell
>notification dots litter the screen like stars
Liking bad AND old games, the trophy probably goes to the fans of the original releases of Pokemon Blue and Red on the original Game Boy. Those games are broken, busted, there's few Pokemon to pick from, movelists are garbage, everything's unbalanced as shit.
There's moves that don't work, moves that do the opposite of what they're supposed to, the art is a wreck because the game was finished before the art was available for the game to use, Missingno and Friends are easy glitches to trigger, even by accident, bricking your whole game.
Nope, they're the best ones because they have "soul", and FRLG ruined it irreparably!

You're a dumbass for buying a game entirely on a whim like that, but I don't blame you, half the internet was talking about the bear sex, either making fun of it, praising it, joking about it, making reaction images of it, writing angry posts about it and so on.
