Deselect these according to your preferences for genre or whatever until you have your chosen kino. If I had to tl;dr a top 3, it'd be Armored Core, Ys 8, and Salt&Sanctuary. Every other recommendation in this thread is absolute dogshit.

fantastix recommendation, however I am going to butt in and say OP (and anyone else) should play through Either Dragon Slayer II: Xanadu or Revival Xanadu first, my recommendation between the two going to the latter. It improved the visuals and added some fantastic music on top of the already good music in the original. The MSX (not MSX2) port of Xanadu is also interesting with fully colored visuals, a bit of a different art style, and an entirely different OST that's also pretty good. It's balanced differently as well, so it's a cool play after playing one of the other two.
