Shimakaze.
I used to play Kancolle back in 2015-2018 when I was extremelly depressed. Don't play it anymore, never played any other Gacha.

I started playing Genshin for Raiden.
But never managed to pull her with the free pulls you get and I'm not retarded enough / too stingy to pay for gacha rolls.
The gameplay loop also got to repetitive after a while especially since basic movement and combat is kinda bad.
It really is a shame since I really like the aesthetic and I really like that kind of open world exploration RPG kind of game.
I end up downloading a bunch of gacha games because of a seiyuu, since I know FULL WELL most of these games don't have enough dedicated autists that rip and upload the files to the net.
So far my smoothbrain only managed to "save" assets from two now-defunct games though. But it's something I guess

You weren't directly pulling for anything using a separate currency, at least when I played, but you certainly could buy supplies in the shop to go gamble on construction or event map drops if you were new or didn't do your expeditions.
Kancolle didn't have any nut twisting income jewry for banner skipping and/or dupe encouragement bullshit, just do your goddamn expeditions and play the game and you'd get everything.

I’m old but never played gacha until a few years ago. I used to just stick to single player games and 100% them or I would just watch anime adaptations of gacha games. I played Fate and many of its spinoffs but never tried FGO. I saw this commercial for Honkai Star Rail and tried it. I’m still f2p and it’s pretty nuts you can just play through all of it for free. I like how you can do dailies each day and I like how they drip feed content so that if there’s no single players games I can just play a new patch of a gacha.
