MIGHTY HYDREIGON
Doing 7 star runs with a Defiant Ghost Tera Type Annihilape with Ghost Tag and Rage Fist. (All you need, really).
Best run:
Umbreon spamming Tail Whip
Mew spamming Life Dew and using ATK/DEF cheers
Blissey spamming Soft Boiled, Light Screen, Protection, and cheers
Beat the raid in 5 turns.
Snarl activates Defiant
Rage Fist (3 boosts)
Rage Fist (sabotage and Life Gain)
Rage Fist (boosts and Life Gain)
Activate Tera Power/Rage Fist
(sabotage, life gain)
Rage Fist
Win
I've even done a run with my Annihilape, one PC Blissey spamming heals, and two useless NPC's (Mudsdale and Corviknight).
Took 8 turns, and I only ever used Rage Fist. Blissey kept me alive and I did all the pertinent damage myself.
If you do these raids with Blissey and you aren't keeping your damage dealer alive, you're a bad player. Calm Mind and Stored Power take too long, don't do enough damage, you'll waste turns because Nasty Plot/removing boosts undoes everything you work for in a single turn, and your singular attacker dies without help and the timer bar plummets to zero.
Using Malamar or Gravity tricks with Ground Types is too risky and too slow. If you're gonna pick a support Mon, play SUPPORT.
CALM MIND AND STORED POWER ARE LAME AND GAY. DON'T BE THAT GUY.

You're never going to get an economically efficient return on Calm Mind for a solid Stored Power. You'll run out of time before you maximizer damage potential.

Why do non-attacker support mons insist on attacking instead of healing, supporting, or sabotaging?

Recover has been weird lately. It doesn't wear off after two turns anymore. I tried it with my Dondozo, and it lasted 4 turns.

Just saw this asshole use Nasty Plot three times in a row. Every hit is a OHKO now.
This thread and all its replies might as well be AI generated. Complete nonsense slop. I hate what modern Pokemon has turned in to.

None of this was a bot or AI. Its my thread, and if you take issue with the quality of Pokemon threads, make them better by providing something to them instead of just bitching about them.
How are YOU doing Mighty Hydreigon raids?

I'm not because raids are gay and retarded. I'm currently playing Blaze Black after having beaten Legends ZA and realizing I haven't played gens 5-9 since each of them released, so I've decided to give them each another go.

Nah. When I was younger I was hyper obsessed with keeping all the monsters I've trained with me - moving them from gen 3 to gen 4 to 5, but that's basically where I stopped. I'm more interested in having them in their source game than I am having them in some nebulous cloud service.

You can move them from game to game, even carrying your best items when you do so.
Moving Master Ball or Ability Patch hundos from one game to the next not only helps you fill your dex, but it keeps your best battlers with you. So you're *really* starting from scratch and can be highly competitive with each new generation.

What's the best support mon if I'm dogshit at dealing damage because my only raidmons are Azumarill and Gholdengo? I've got enough rare candy to raise one Pokemon.

Who cares about these raids?
I get the starters and legendaries, because those aren't available in the base game, but why care about a raid for mon you can easily catch or trade/breed.
It's not as if it is hard to get a 6 iv mon in this game.

Depends on what KIND of support, and usually what you're up against. For straight up moveset, you'd pick Blissey or Lucario. They have the most "heal/buff allies" moves. In raids you get three cheers. It usually supports three other real players to use a pokemon that can debuff the raid pokemon. I use Lapras. Muddy Water, Chilling Water, Liquidation, and Life Dew. With sky-high defense, special defense, and HP, plus three cheers, I can usually lower the atk, def, and accuracy of the raid pokemon until the end of the raid without fainting.

Blissey will survive longer than Lucario would. Lucario has access to a more aggressive moveset. They have different typings and different weaknesses though, so as I said - it depends what you're up against.
