>Smash Ultimate Switch 2
Ignoring the Licensing Nightmare that game is, Sakurai is an odd fellow that genuinely likes to move on to new projects, especially for new consoles. I still remember people thinking Ultimate was going to be an "Enhanced Port" of Smash 4. Not going to happen as long as Sakurai lives.
>SwSh Switch 2
Aside from the fact Scarlet/Violet are right there, SwSh is a game that needs to either be remade from the ground up or need the 3rd Version Treatment if it wants to redeem itself in the eyes of the public. And ultimately a lot of what it wanted to do was just done better in SV, beyond technical limitations.
>Luigi's Mansion 3 Switch 2
Most likely of your list. Next Level Games seem to be a little hurting for cash after Strikers Battle League flopped and it seems like an easy slam dunk. Just bundle the multiplayer DLC and call it a day. There probably wouldn't be any big performance improvements, though...
>MK8DX Switch 2
We don't need *3 generations* of Mario Kart 8. The game already looks and runs beautifully, what the fuck would even be the difference?? This would be Last of Us 2 Remastered-tier pointless if it was real.

I think Zelda was more downgrading itself than being built around 30FPS. Easier to up those games than essentially recreate the whole game's logic, especially one that doesn't really benefit from 60FPS beyond basic gamefeel. New Horizons is just a weird game when you think about the development history, and this is on top of how oddly difficult it is to make Animal Crossing.

Sony remasters are hampered by the fact that the PS4 and PS5 weren't underpowered hardware. So there wasn't much reason for something like LOU2 to be undershooting and needing THE POWER OF THE PS5 PRO to hit their peak performance. It sucks both ways, but it stings more to think that the PS4/5 couldn't do this normally with how high powered they were for the time.
