I don't expect it to do much. Making a kemono-themed Mega Man X/Zero clone for myself, because Capcom sure as fuck ain't doing anything with that IP besides ROM collections.

This is just a trap. Like sure, you can play around with the whole size difference idea like you see in a lot of games utilizing mice if you build a game around the concept, but beyond that, I just want to take the CC2 approach of there just being 2-3 species at most, and it's mostly just there for visual aesthetic.
And CC2 games don't sell that aren't Naruto fighters, so that was already my first warning about furry games being a problem back when I picked up Solatorobo many years ago.
