GTA San Andreas for 'everyone fucking played it'
Spider-man 2 for movie-games which seem to have faded in popularity
Fallout 3 for First Person RPGs rising to prominence (I know morrowind was earlier, but I think FO3 was the bigger 'normies play this too!' game.
