I don't mind either fanbase, but Kojima fans are basically harmless. At best you'll get a "u just dont understand it", or they'll fuss if you dislike a certain game.
Souls fans, most are pretty harmless too, but then you get the faction that's all GITGUDGITGUDGITGUD nonstop and they demand all soulslikes should be absolutely pure and megahard, and they hate the concept of tanking to the point where they'll scream and whine if you DARE play a souls game / soulslike as a tank because you're playing it WRONG (unless you're a streamer doing a pure tank challenge run, THEN it's fine).
Both get shit on by Nintendo fans though. If you DARE criticize any Nintendo game, they shit down your throat about it nonstop until you leave or enough of them join in and force you to leave.
Doesn't matter if the game's bad, mid, whatever, they'll eat you alive if you think Bananza/MKW is overrated or that MP4 kinda looks mid at best and is just more open world shit that Nintendo's been addicted to lately.
Within the Nintendo fanbase is the Pokemon fanbase, and that's when things dial up to 11. Sure, you've got the guys who've lost interest in the main games and just play romhacks, but then you've got the Pokemon fans that ate up SwSh without a single complaint, the guys who view the original GB gen 1 as the peak of the series, the fans that buy up thousands of dollars in merch and plushies every week, those guys that literally DDoS'd Nintendo's corporate and private emails to tell them about how Palworld is literally Satan, the fans that buy up tons of copies of each game to do trading shenanigans and wont even bother buying a single non-Pokemon Game Freak game (and if they do, they dump on it for not being like Pokemon) with all that money they're throwing around.
Don't like X Pokemon? You just don't get the reference.
