Most people who fight in a war are usually a lot younger than one might think, the majority of soldiers enroll (or got drafted) at 18 years. So she could literally be under 30 and still not break common sense.

are there very many jp games that feature romances/love interests between the player and an older woman? i love age gaps because you can explore the inherent weirdness of dating someone, like, i'd struggle to be with a woman that has no conception of what life was like before 9/11? i doubt very many would go in that direction but i guess that's how i'd do it. the ones where the love interest is actually a hundreds/thousands of year old elf that looks and acts like a human woman in her early 20s is passable but not really what i want
